BTW I have just a slighty too big cam for what I got now(the compression) its a 224* .465 lift 114LSA. So im looking for just alittle bit more bottem end.The vortec head is a better flowing head than the 882 although to be used with that cam they will have to be machined to handle over .450" lift. Strange maybe but true. Ive always had good luck with R44TS plugs, which is for heads with tapered seat plugs (the "T" is for tapered seat). If your heads need gasketed plugs it would need R44 or R44S (the "S" is for extended tip).This points the only way to effectivly use a 1.60 exhaust valve is to do a lot of cutting of the bowls after the valve is enlarged.
