Personally, I don't really care about co-witnessing with a red dot. I never look at my irons. I run red dots on all of my pistols except for my 1911s.I would buy my X5 Legion over the AXG. However to me, the bottom line is I can't switch between shadow 2 and 2011 easily. For that reason I am thinking of getting a x5 legion for my CO (And Production) games. If you direct mount it, the front of the optic will slightly overhang the ejection port and there are postings of the empty brass hitting the optic.
