Me and the wife have now had this issue happen twice. She invites me via Steam because for some reason her game doesnt show up and she sees me enter the game but on my screen it gets stuck at 100%. I fixed it by going into GOG settings -> Game features -> Overlay (uncheck box). after that i restarted the GOG client and launched the game, it loaded in a couple seconds.
