Look at the barrel date that is on the barrel when the oprod is locked back. Some/Most WWII built M1's went through a rebuild for Korea. All of the dates are fine to shoot but the non-rebuilt guns sell at a higher price to collectors.The serial number starts with a 6 and ends with a 5 with space between the numbers with two struck lines between the numbers.
