Overall, though, I think rogue is the best multiclass for increasing thaumaturge DPR, followed closely by monk.The Triggerbrand weapons might be interesting here, with the fatal d8 on firearm mode, so at level 6 you have a strong chance of hitting with the finesse melee mode, and then blasting with a +2 for a nice juicy crit. You need to have it out to make use of it, and you need to be within reach of the target. It is a good Implement to have with the Weapon to have a little extra Temp HP. It's only use is healing and Temp HP. DEX also patches the delayed reflex save on the thaumaturge. As a thaumaturge you effectively add a lot of static damage so your damage stat being delayed (STR vs. DEX) won't be felt that much. In a same vein, since most of your damage comes from big static modifiers (especially with implements like regalia after getting the adept upgrade ... Barbarian has this issue where using agile weapons halves your rage damage. Flurry Ranger reaches its maximum potential specifically with agile weapons.
