Took me a wile to figure out why some stuff worked and some stuff didnt. What ever fails is a result of the modem not allowing a connection to any site that is using IPv4. Curious to see if this is an issue with service in Dallas or maybe something much larger. Call spectrum and ask for a tech. They usually fix this issue.Unplug your cable modem for 1 minute so it forgets about the mac address of the Spectrum Router. After a minute plug it back in with your Asus router attached now and it should be able to pull a new public IP. Also make sure the WAN port of the Asus is set to auto/auto for speed/duplex. 1.
