It's now an SBR with a bunch of upgrades, including Zenitco handguards and pistol grip, a JMAC folding stock tube, and a KNS piston. This meant one would have to take the dust cover off, index the rail at the front, install the cover, then clamp the rail down on the rear trunnion nub.Based on this, I would recommend either a WBP Fox, Zastava ZPAP M70, or a Century WASR-10. The AKM is for the stamped receiver. Upper handguards are normally interchangeable between the two. Same with pistol grips. Keep in mind that 7.62 has quite a bit more drop than 5.56 ad well.
